About this race
The first UCI Gravel World Series race ever held in Greece, on Sunday 15 November 2026 in historic Marathon - site of the Battle of Marathon ~2,500 years ago. Terrain centres on Lake Marathon, the Schinias pine forest and coastline, roughly 90% off-road. Two routes: 121km long course with 2,020m elevation gain, and an 86km short course with 1,430m elevation gain. Organised by Bicycle Friendly Greece / MBike, Greece's leading cycling platform since 1999 and organiser of the Athens Bike Festival, following their Megalopolis Gravel Classic and Amarantos Gravel Experience.
